Best of: Beauty food books
I’m always in and out of this stack of beauty books and have picked up so many useful tips on how to feed your skin... (as well as endless baby and nutrition books on the go at the moment)- I wish I was a faster reader to get through them all I’m so slow and always have been!) My husband James calls it ‘the book club’ in our bedroom as every night before bed I’m reading something new and telling him all the new stuff I’ve learnt - poor him!
• ‘Eat Beautiful’ by Wendy Rowe is my all time favourite beauty book! I love her easy recipes (most of them don’t require obscure ingredients you have to pay a fortune for and only use once- think we’ve all been there) and great facts about the best skin feeding whole foods to eat during each season of the year
• ‘Beauty Food’ by Maria Ahlgren I haven’t got a recipe book like it or seen many of the largely Asian-style recipes before so it’s so great for new inspiring meals to try if you like me you love Japanese, Korean style foods. There’s also nice little skin food hacks throughout the book too.
• ‘Reverse The Signs of Ageing’ by Dr Nigma Talib is so interesting I’ve had it for years and read it a few times now and still refer back to it for certain things as it’s packed full of smart natural ways to enhance the skin from the inside-out.
• ’Love Your Skin’ by skin expert Abigail James is literally a SKIN BIBLE with absolutely everything you need to know about skin and how to get it glowing - any skin enthusiasts like me would love this book so it makes a great gift idea too!
