A little nutrition reminder
I’ve been coaching clients in the lead up to their holidays all summer & even some whilst they’re away too to help them get the most out of their holiday, strengthen their relationships with food & find balance and joy.
Lots of people struggle with holidays (which is similar to how some people feel about the weekends too) because it’s out of their daily weekday routine and what they know and that feeling of letting go and just going with the flow when they’ve worked hard to feel amazing & healthy can be anxiety inducing and daunting which can end up putting a cloud over the trip they’ve been excited to go on- but it doesn’t have to be like this.
So this is just a little reminder that your nutrition is never EVER based on one day or one week of your life. Repeat.
Adopt a nurturing, non-judgment & balanced approach to your eating habits by looking after yourself & listening to your body’s needs, I mean really listen. Eat the fruit&veg, drink the water and when you fancy it enjoy the rosé with your partner or friends and enjoy every lick of the ice cream with your kids- soak it all up and find joy in it all. Surrender to all of the joys and magic of being on holiday with the people you love, there is always time for nourishment and nourishment is not just about food.
Learn to tap into that intuition of yours I promise it will serve you well if you let it.
