Sustainable beauty swaps

I’ve found a natural deodorant free from aluminium that actually works! (trust me i’ve tried so many!)

This has got to be my favourite sustainable beauty swap so far because for literally years I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant free from aluminium and while there are lots of options on the market I haven’t found one that actually works! Finally the search is over and Wild is where its at as it ticks all the boxes and for me and James (I got him onto it too) it really does work we’ve been using it daily for 3 weeks now (and tested it on the hottest of summer days!). The brand advise allowing 2 weeks for it to adapt to your body and I’m so pleased to say I’m a total convert. I love the whole concept of the brand its so easy to setup and the refillable deodorant is made completely from plants and is compostable- they’ve thought of everything and its really paid off!

Pros:

  • Actually keeps you fresh all day! - even on the hottest sweatiest of days. Its dermatologically approved and doesn’t disrupt PH levels

  • 100% natural ingredients - free from aluminium & parabens

  • 100% Plastic-free, compostable refills. The refills are made from plants & packaged in plants

  • Smells amazing -I opted for ‘coconut dreams’ & James went for ‘bergamot rituals’ both very happy with our choices, mine smells like holiday!

  • Glides on easily and doesn’t leave white marks on my clothes

  • Convenient as the subscription means its delivered to your door and you can pause / cancel & change scent and delivery dates

Cons:

  • Slightly more expensive than regular deodorant but the fact its natural, biodegradable and good for the planet makes the extra expense worth it for us

  • James thinks the container is quite big for a deodorant but that doesn’t bother me at all, I love the deodorant case its so pretty and in my opinion not too big it fits through your letterbox too

All in all a great sustainable beauty swap that makes so much sense, i highly recommend checking this brand out!
